Did you know that Red Velvet Cake is the 2nd most popular cake flavor in America? Yep, that’s right and those that love it don’t understand why it isn’t #1. I mean, what’s not Numero Uno about a vibrant red hunk of cake, with a light chocolatey taste and a slight buttermilk tang drenched in cream cheese flavored icing and topped with chopped pecans….(or PUH-KAHNS as some of our fellow Southerners call them. Bless their little hearts 🙂 Right?)

Our Mini Loaf Cakes are just right for sharing OR being a little selfish (hey-WE won’t judge you if you choose to be stingy). These mini loaves measure approximately 5 inches by 3 inches and about 3.5 inches tall at the peak so they are more than enough for a couple of dessert breaks for you or a shareable treat for two or three friends.

Why Will You Love This?

Well, let us count the ways (Sonnet 43 anyone?). First, there’s just the right amount of cocoa flavor…not a lot but enough to let you know it’s there. Second, this cake is MOIST and soft and a little bit fluffy, but it isn’t a lightweight by any measure. Third, there’s that buttermilk tang.
